Your ballot is on its way!
The election has officially begun!
That's right - ballots are in the mail and we are one step closer to having the union that Martin County teachers deserve!
No more delayed contracts.
No more 'raises' that don't even keep up with rising insurance premiums.
No more excuses.
With the United Teachers of Martin County, we'll have a licensed attorney help us get the best deal possible out of our contract negotiations and we'll have that contract before the school year starts, every year. Teachers will have access to better liability insurance and full transparency on how their dues are spent. Best of all? It'll come at half the cost.
Keep an eye out for an envelope from Florida's Public Relations Commission - that's your ballot! When it arrives, just place an X in the box for the United Teachers of Martin County, seal the ballot in the provided return envelope, sign the outside of that envelope (not your actual ballot), place a stamp on it and drop it right back in the mail as soon as possible.
In the meantime, our team is visiting schools to bring you more information and answer any questions you might have about us or the election. If you haven't seen us yet, we'll be at your school soon!
You can also join us this Friday at Frazier Creek Brewery to celebrate the start of the election and enjoy some free food and drinks on us.
If you have any questions or need help with the election process, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at (614) 578-3979 or contact@unitedteachersmc.com.
