You're not wrong for asking questions
If there's one thing MCEA is good at, it's fearmongering.
You've probably heard some ridiculous claims from MCEA and their representatives about us, this election, or even what you're "allowed" to do as a teacher in Martin County. Maybe they've tried to intimidate you, or discouraged you from exploring your options, or even retaliated against you for asking questions they didn't want to answer.
We understand. They've tried to do it to us too.
We started the United Teachers of Martin County because you deserve better than that. We're done settling for a union that disrespects and lies to the teachers it represents. It's time for Martin County to have a union that works to empower teachers, not union bosses.
Our team is visiting schools to meet with teachers because we believe in the power of open dialogue and that you deserve to have all the facts before making your decision in this election.
If you want to know more about UTMC but are unable to join us for one of these school visits or would rather speak privately, we would be more than happy to chat one on one. Give us a call at (614) 578-3979 or send us an email at contact@unitedteachersmc.com. Our conversation will be kept confidential.
We look forward to speaking with you soon.
