The truth about millage

MCEA’s lies and fearmongering strike again! 

Their latest scare tactic? They’re claiming that if UTMC wins this election, teachers will lose their millage money.

This is absolutely ridiculous and completely false. The truth is that the voters of Martin County gave you the millage and it cannot be taken away. 

In fact, none of your benefits or protections are at risk in this election. By law, those things all remain in place and when UTMC wins this election, we will strengthen those benefits by securing Martin County teachers their first contract since the '23-'24 school year.

MCEA's lies reveal the truth - that they don't have a legitimate leg to stand on. They have failed Martin County teachers for too long. You deserve better than that.

It's time for us to have a union that isn't afraid of the truth and will fight for what matters most.
