Teachers Deserve More: Vote UTMC April 14!
As a teacher in Martin County, you show up every day with an unwavering commitment to your students. You deserve a union that gives you that same dedication.
Sadly, MCEA has failed to deliver that level of representation, time and time again. For years, teachers in our district have faced delayed contracts, rising insurance costs, and raises that fail to keep pace with increasing financial pressures.
Enough is enough. That's why we've formed the United Teachers of Martin County - a new union that will treat teachers with the respect and dedication they deserve.
UTMC will charge less than half of what MCEA charges for dues, while providing better liability insurance and a licensed attorney for contract negotiations and employee representation. With UTMC, teachers can count on having a contract every year, before the school year starts.
In just a few days, you'll have the opportunity to choose your representation and vote for the United Teachers of Martin County in an election conducted by Florida's Public Employee Relations Commission. Ballots will be mailed to you at home starting April 14.
